Medlog Takes Exclusive Control of MVN
The Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) has officially approved the transition of MVN S.r.l. from joint control to exclusive control by Medlog Holding Italia S.r.l. (a subsidiary of the MSC Group - Mediterranean Shipping Company).
Details of the Deal
The Buyer: Medlog Holding Italia, which already owned 51% of MVN.
The Acquisition: Medlog is buying an additional 29% stake from Logistics Project Italia (LPI).
Final Result: Medlog will own 80% of MVN and have total control. LPI will keep a 20% stake but will no longer have a say in strategic decisions or the power to veto major company moves.
